Crystal Meta-Science

The goal of all scientific and metaphysical endeavors is to shed light on the unknown.  What was once thought to be “metaphysical magic” is now commonplace.  We live in a world that is rapidly changing, new discoveries seem to happen on a daily basis and what was believed to be immutable scientific fact has been turned on its head.

Marcel Vogel, IBM scientist and world renown metaphysician, devoted the latter part of his life to comprehending hidden truths, and in particular, the mysteries pertaining to crystals. Utilizing scientific methods and working with a host of volunteers he pioneered the field of crystal energies.  Marcel Vogel investigated the interaction of crystal energy with the so-called subtle or etheric forces within nature.

Crystals are a special form of matter. Each crystal is a solid with a regular internal arrangement of atoms or molecules. Like all other 'living' things, crystals are 'born' from a seed and undergo growth processes in their formation.
He discovered  an intelligent matrix existing in crystals with the ability to store, amplifiy and transfer resonant information,

Crystals have been utilized by mankind throughout history, although particularly so in the past few hundred years. Just as different plants provide a variety of herbal essences, different crystals serve a myriad of functions. For example, some crystals are piezoelectric.  Discovered by the French physicist and chemist Pierre Curie (1859–1906), the piezoelectric effect is a phenomenon demonstrated by certain crystals: when squeezed or stretched, a voltage is produced across the crystal's face. This effect is reversible as well, for when a voltage is applied to a piezoelectric crystal it will stretch; if the polarity of the voltage is alternated, the crystal will rapidly expand and contract, producing a vibration. It is this vibration that makes quartz especially useful.

Every kind of piezoelectric crystal has a natural vibration frequency that is determined by its thickness—the thinner the crystal, the higher the frequency. When a crystal is made to vibrate at its natural frequency by the application of a voltage, the system is said to be in resonance. A crystal in resonance will maintain a constant, unfaltering frequency. When coupled with vacuum tubes or transistors, this constant frequency can be changed into a radio signal. Such was the design of the quartz radio, used primarily during World War II.

Another common use of quartz is in timekeeping. All clocks rely upon some form of oscillator to keep regular time; for example, mechanical clocks sometimes use a pendulum to regulate the motion of their hands. In a quartz timepiece, a small ring-shaped piece of crystal is made to vibrate at its natural frequency. A microchip reads how many times the quartz vibrates each second and uses that information to keep accurate time. Because the crystal's vibration is unfaltering, quartz clocks are among the most precise timekeeping devices, losing less than one hundred thousandth of a second each day.

Quartz crystals are the basis for all computing devices, from watches to calculators to personal computers.  Without quartz crystals, there would be no Internet.  The majority of industries in the world rely on computers for their speed and efficiency.  E-mail, cell phones, satelite radio and tv, digital VCR's all owe thier existance to the resonant properties of quartz.  You can say that quartz is the fulcurm of communication in this day and age.

The understanding that crystal energy can be of positive use to humanity is a tremendous realization. The discovery of the mechanism behind this action is of even greater importance. Marcel Vogels work remains a milestone in this process. Just as electronic revolutionized physical life, future crystalonics will transform the inner life.
